DVEeLink™ Integration with Existing Systems


VMC has been testing vehicles & their components with VMC-SensorManager™ hardware and VMC-TestManager™ software for several years, and is now able to expand it's scope of testing solutions to include remote testing suitable for Remote Testing and similar programs that evaluate pilot and early production vehicles of new models.

VMC is thus offering a full spectrum of testing hardware configurations, [from factory floor, to field commissioning, to Remote Testing] so that this family of VMC testing systems together will reduce customer costs, by allowing existing, common (VMC-TestManager™) software, hardware (VMC-SensorManager™) and importantly the test scripts and the know how of the OEM's and VMC's test teams to be used.


The development of the DVEeLink™ for the trucking market has given VMC this opportunity to offer DVEeLink™
to all vehicle OEM's, but it is not a fundamental change in the use of VMC hardware or software, rather just
adding a communications link between VMC-SensorManager™ / VehicleDataBus and the PC running VMC-TestManager™,
with the chance to communicate with the driver, as an option.
The difference is that the testing can be done remotely via the Internet.

DVEeLink™ is a three way communication system between your:
1. Machines data bus
2. Design Engineers
3. Operator

This system will allow the operator and the design engineer to follow the machine operating parameters in the
field. Giving up to the minute reporting on the changes in operating conditions as the machine is at work. Coupling
with a GPS system to give grade conditions, will give the design team a accurate picture of the machine at work.
