VMC-SensorManager™ Overview
VMC-SensorManager™ , a configuration
of which is shown at the right, is an on-board microprocessor-based
electronic module that collects analog data from vehicle Sensors and
transmits that data in an industry-standard digital vehicle data bus
format.
In effect, VMC-SensorManager™ adds those channels
to the vehicle's existing data bus.
The electronics of VMC-SensorManager™
are inside a durable metal casing designed to mount onto the vehicle.
In a factory setting, VMC-SensorManager™ can be built into a test station.
VMC-SensorManagerTM receives information
from the sensors through a series of inlet ports, each of which are
connected to a sensor. Each VMC-SensorManager™ can be designed to acommodate
as many as 32 Sensor channels. Where more channels are required, you
can link VMC-SensorManagers™ together to accomodate as many channels
as needed.
VMC-SensorManager™ can transmit
the information it receives from the Sensors to a computerized testing
system such as the ETS, a monitoring system, or to the vehicle's own
data link.
