Remote Testing Systems (RTS)    
 

The Remote Testing System (RTS) uses our DVEelink™ technology which enables remote testing of multiple vehicles from any location. GPS and cellular technology send information from the Vehicle Data Bus(VDB) to a central location where VMC-TestManager™ Sofware is used to perform tests. It is ideal for long term on-site testing without being intrusive upon the vehicle operator. RTS can be also be equipped with a Display module for interaction and communication with the vehicle operator.

Remote Testing Systems:

  • Significantly decrease travel time and expense for the test engineer.

  • Greatly improve the quantity and quality of feedback information from the vehicle under test.

  • Open new technical test possibilities not presently practical to further enhance testing effectiveness. For example, measuring vehicle productivity, both for vehicle design improvements, and to provide production data to the end user.

Remote Testing Details

Our DVEelink™ module delivers data via the internet to engineer's pc where he can design and perform customized tests with VMC-TestManagerand VMC-TestDesignerSoftware.

The vehicle position is provided by a 12 satelite GPS reciever & antennae and wireless communication is provided by a GSM cellular radio modem.

A connection to the Vehicle Data Bus(VDB).

Two digital i/o channels to read circuit state or to open and close circuits.

4 analogue inputs(0-5 VDC).

1 frequency input.

1 Analogue output channel provides a means to remotely control in vehicle devices when needed.

More analogue or digital inputs can be added using one of our DAQ boxes.
